Reelify is in early access. It is a first version: the basics work, the feature list is short, and things will change as we learn from creators using it. Automatic captions work for English only and run on your device, so they can be slow on older machines. Links must point straight at a video file: Reelify can’t download from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok or podcast pages, so for those you bring the file.

When captions exist, Reelify ranks whole-sentence stretches of 20 to 60 seconds using simple signals: how a clip opens, complete sentences, loudness, steady speech and how it ends. Each pick lists the signals that fired. Without captions it ranks by loudness only and says so. These are simple rules, not AI summarising, and Reelify does not understand what is said. Titles are the clip’s first caption sentence and can contain caption mistakes: you can edit them.
You adjust the cut
Every suggested clip has editable start and end times, a live preview and a 9:16 crop you can nudge left or right. Keep the ones you like, skip the rest.
Captions you can choose and correct
Automatic captions run on your device, in English. Pick Fast, Better or Best (about 42, 78 or 250 MB, downloaded once from huggingface.co): bigger ones make fewer mistakes on average and are slower, and none is perfect. A Fix words list (“wap => Whop”) and find and replace with undo fix the rest, and the list stays on your device. Both plans get all of it.
Tighten pauses (Pro)
With automatic captions Reelify knows where every word is, so it can shorten the silences between words in your exported clips. You pick a preset and a strength, see every proposed cut with its original and new gap, and switch any cut off. Words, breaths and filler sounds are not removed. It checks the file it makes with measurements, which are not a substitute for listening: listen before you post. English only.
Follow the speaker (Pro)
Instead of one fixed crop, Reelify can look for the main face in each clip, on your device, and pan the 9:16 window to keep it in view. It finds faces, not voices, so it can miss someone in profile, far from the camera or among several people: you see sampled frames with the window on each, check them, and switch any clip back to a manual position. It only pans: it never zooms.
Brand kit (Pro)
Put your logo in a corner of every clip and make the captions yours: text, highlight and outline colours, one of six open fonts, lower third, middle or upper, and a size. A preview shows the result, with a safe-zone guide and a real frame of your clip, and warns you when colours are hard to read. Your logo and settings stay in your browser: they are not uploaded. Pro exports have no watermark.
Export everything at once, with a posting pack
Export every clip you ticked in one go, watch overall and per-clip progress, cancel without losing what is finished, and download one zip. It comes with a posting pack for each clip: your title, a short description and hook line taken from the clip’s own words, a few suggested hashtags drawn from its most frequent words, and its timing. It is plain text, not AI, so read and edit it before you post: speech recognition can make mistakes. On Free and Pro; Free keeps the watermark and the clip limit.
Private by design
Your video is read and cut on your own device. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. If you paste a direct link to a video file, your browser downloads it straight from that site and Reelify never sees it. Finding the speaker works on your device too: only a small face-detection model file is downloaded, and your frames stay put. Generate English captions automatically on your device, add your own .srt or .vtt transcript, or type them per clip.

Automatic captions are included on Free and Pro, with all three caption qualities (Fast, Better and Best) and Fix words.
